Green - so common... Actually, I'm a big fan of the new Holden Green called "Poison Ivy".

The EH with the Ford tail lights was at the Summernats and one of my friends couldnt work out why you would do that, Every time he saw it he just shook his head and said what the F&$k what he thinking, on another note that HR is very nice, Like I said Perry next year we will make a weekend of it, Cheers Vandil.

In the 1980's it was the norm to change the taillights on any old Holden or Ford, and thats why it was changed on the EH van....just something to do.
If you have a look through early issues of Custom Vans & trucks, you will see some wild mods. Its obvious the EH van dates from that era but it has been given a fresh lick of paint.

Sure is. The engine bay was impressive - a small block Chev with custom headers so they didn't cut the inner guards. The headers were so close to the steering column you could barely see daylight. A well done piece of work.

I understand that part mate, but it looks like shit, they could've put EH sedan tail lights in it.

Re: Vans from the Colac show 2010
True. Maybe he could have put in an injected Ford motor, whatever they are called, instead of a Buick V6.

The taillights on the EH Panel Vans were never popular, so out of the many EH /EJ Vans of the past, some had modded tailights. this one is, well different, although the bodywork is well done . Blue Daimond has hit the nail on the head, thats what they did in the 80's . I,ve seen an EH Van with EH tailights and it looks shit as well, sorry, I,ve had 5 EH's and the tailights only look good on sedans and wagons. Another note; if you look closely it runs a neat looking supercharged V6 out of a Commodore . A little bit far removed from its Buick origins these days . The rest of the van its excellent.
Cheers Ron
