Yeah would look great I think.i have since started the egg rolling with the decals I have someone looking into getting them finalised here in Melbourne. Just need to do a test fitting check colours shape design etc.. how do I reply to the zodiac?? Is that through the forum chat??

Hi all thanks for the welcomed messages I have been very fortunate to have owned qiute a few cars.. and recently lucky enough to have been in the right place to purchase a very special gm styling car that was specially built for the motor show. Its a one of a kind car the only hq coupe to recueve this colour called barneys shirt. Best described as a mixture of pink lilac with purple hue. Its slowly in the process of a full restoration. Its a very unique car and was the true definition of pimp my ride.. great website look forward to speaking to others about there special cars.

Hi, my names Andrew. I'm a 24yo fitter and machinist apprentice living in Sydney. I just bought myself an XG van as a daily, maybe a month or two ago. Even though it's been dramatic and kinda tough on the wallet getting her running, I'm still enjoying the s*** out of van life. As usual... lots of big plans and not enough time or money!

Also a lot of questions for the gurus, so I think I'll be coming back here a bit from now on ; )

By the way, my inspiration to buy it was an all black (XF??) van I saw around town with the number plate "Medusa". Anyone know him?

Sort of a reintroduce myself , as I haven't been on the forum for a long while.
I see Tony is still around--still got your HQ Monaro? I kind of just recently bought a HJ Sandman --Biante 1/64 -- kind of one I could fit in my pocket. As for a real one 1:1 scale -still a maybe --- when I sell off some stuff that I no longer use or need any more. Will get one , already on the road, as I am not building any more garage projects. So one day somewhere, sometime, I just may get that panel van?

Yes Tony, I still working for the Canadians with our Australian Team doing overhaul and reconditioning work on the RAAF's C130J Hercules aircraft (and associates parts ) at Richmond . Gotta keep our customer--the RAAF-- happy, and keep the Hercs reliable to support our diggers and raafies in Afghanistan.

New to the forum, New to vanning! Andrew, 21, from Canberra. I have just bought myself a WB - Rough Blue paint, red 253, 4 on the floor, 4 windows in the back. When I bought it it had a little rust down the sills but thats almost fixed. Gonna do a false floor with drawers and a bed in the back. Check her out, primer filler for the rust down the sides:

Hi my name is Darren , im in the hunter valley . i have loved vans since i was a kid , the old man used to take me to rickshaws were i seen Alley Cat (pre v12), Invader , Checkmate , Inervsions ,Street legal he also took me to van shows at Garden city and Charlestown square in the early 80's . I have an EK sedan that I took to all Holden day in 2005 seen all the vans and rekindled my love of them . went up to Nabiac nats for a look in 2006 , 2007 nats at Caboolture where friends live , so flew up for that .Walking out of those nats i said to my mate "Im getting a van ",may 2007 i purchased a HJ off ebay from Grafton , got it trucked down to my place rego'd it and drove round as a daily for about 5 years .It's now in the shed getting rust repairs done.It's a factory 253 4 speed 3.08 windowless beige , but is white now but will be silver after rust repair
