2012 Easter Van-In at Albury.

For those of you who won't be travelling to WA for the Van Nats, Majestic Vanners are organising a Van-In for all those interested in Panel Vans (i.e. an Open Invite to all Clubs and those not in Clubs) in Albury, NSW.


Back in one of the old stomping grounds of Vanning and the Nationals - Albury/Wodonga! Albury/Wodonga was the home of the Van Nats for many years.


The City of Albury is on the Hume Freeway at the border of NSW and Victoria.

There are a myriad of local Attractions (including Wineries, Breweries, Olive Farms and the Hume Dam), Facilities, Shopping Centres and a full range of Accommodation available from sleeping under the Stars to 5 Star Motels and Apartments.

We're Planning a huge weekend.

Agenda: This is a loose Agenda which we will tidy up as we get closer.

Friday will be for Arrivals, Meet & Greet and find your way around town to stock up on Supplies, sharing Photos, Videos etc. with a get together Dinner will be a BBQ at our Camping Grounds.

Saturday will be the Mystery Cruise Day with Lunch somewhere Quaint (Country Pub). Swimming (if the weather's warm).

Saturday Evening will be the Light & Sound Spectacular and Panel Van Display from 7:30pm to 9:30pm and Dinner at the SS&A Club (Confirmed). This will be followed by a short Night Cruise through the Cities of Albury & Wodonga, and then Videos.

Sunday will be the Show & Shine at Hovell Tree Park and will include a few People Games. Setup up from 8:00am, Official opening at 10:00am, Lunch from the Community Oven in the Park from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, Trophy Presentations at 2:00pm.

Sunday Evening get together. Details to be finalised, buy will include sharing Photos, Videos etc. reliving the Events of the weekend with a get together Dinner BBQ at our Camping Grounds.

Monday departures.


It won't be over the top, but it could be.

It's all about meeting like-minded people and having Fun!


Camping: We are hiring the Hume Angling Club, Club House and Camping at the Grounds, which is located right on the Weir/Hume Dam.

The Club House has full Catering Facilities and Amenities including a Commercial sized Kitchen, a Double Glass Door Refrigerator, Tables and Chairs, Toilets, Showers and somewhere to throw your Swag at the end of the night.

Outside there are two (2) BBQ’s under a covered area c/w a Serving Bar. There is plenty of space for Camping with Power available, and there is also a Boat Ramp for those who wish to bring a Boat.

I am going to Sandown on the weekend for the preview of all the V8 supercar teams.
(The Disney cars 'Lightning McQueen' and 'Mack the Truck' are going to be there for the kids!!)
Should be a good opportunity to do a big flyer drop!

still got my fingers crossed that I can come along to this to meet some of you peoples n hang out for a day. Easter is usually a pretty big family event for me but being only an hr away ill try and sneak off. Wont have the van though unfortunately

Hey ya! This looks good... haven't been to Albury in a long time. At this stage we would only be able to make it up on the Saturday and Sunday we would be heading home. We will be sharing Hovel Tree Park on the Sunday with the City Central Church with their Easter Sunday ‘Family Fun Day’, bringing Easter to the People.

During the Show & Shine there will be an Easter Egg Hunt, Jumping Castle, Fairy Floss (for the Kids) and a Sausage Sizzle ALL for FREE for all who attend.

How much is the cost.
I'm not being tight but on the pension, you have to plan things and it helps to know where you are at.
