This is Blu's (Owner of VooDoo Blues) Daily Wheelbarrow.

I must say I'm very Envious. My old EJ never looked this good.

Blu said he built this Ute to a late 70's period theme.

Wow! That's a thing of beauty Blu, anyone would be proud to have that in their shed. Your a lucky bloke for sure to have such a sweet collection of toys!

Thanks boys for the positive comments. Also a huge thanks to Rusty for taking the time out to post these for me. Not sure why but each pic has had about a third of each one chopped off the right hand side. You will just have to trust me... the ute does have a front on it and its not smashed

For those interested the ute has been built up from a bare shell as a tribute to the way my mates and I built them in the mid to late 70,s. Some of the period items include the flared back guards, 13" x 7" front and 13" x 8" rear genuine US racing mags, ole skool side pipe exiting in front of right rear wheel, Ole skool Speco vinyl steering wheel and genuine rear venetion blind (not repro rubbish), extendable Nasco drivers side external mirror and a lot more period stuff.

I have heaps more pics of this ute if anyone would like specific shots just let me know.

There was a ute that looked very similar to yours years ago here in Tumut, a guy that worked with my dad owned it. I checked it out when I did work experience in 1990. His name is Bob Barbe but Bob sold his a long, long time ago and his was back than just a nice daily driver. Bob works where I do now, I'll have to show him yours!

Ok no worries Rob. Great to know that everyone else can see the whole pic. i think you are right and the problem must be at my end. Ever since I have joined this site I have only been able to get part of the pics. I just thought it was the pics loading host for the site. Obviously its an issue here so I will get it checked out. Thanks for letting me know.

I dont know Bobs old ute from Tumut but I do know that heaps of early Holdens around the mid to late 70,s were built using this style. I bought mine as a bare roller and to my knowledge its always been that factory Wedgewood Blue that I have on it now. Its funny how many older blokes stop and tell me that you just dont see them built to this style anymore. That is the very reason I wanted to do it.

Reckon you should do it Dean. Old skool style is back big time now(not that it ever left for me). Only way to roll with these old girls. The look just never dates.
