heres an idea that i used in a similar guise on a forum i ran

one of the mods will have to edit this on a regular basis though

each member puts up the following info so it's a quick and easy reference guide

Name	Trade/work	Work/Own	Length	Area	Contact
Bob	Mechanic	Worker	17years	Kingsgrove NSW	PM
Alf	Chicken Shop	Owner	1993	Summer Bay VIC	1800 CHICKEN

the idea of this obviously is that people can go to one page and see who they can contact for help on whatever they need. It doesnt need to be car related stuff either, we all need Vets, Plumbers, strippers, chefs etc

as everyone puts up their info a mod would have to remove the info from their post and put it into the first listing and they remove their post so it remains an info page and not a discussion so all the info is in the one spot and people dont have to go through pages and pages

Name - Just your first name (it's not a business promo)
Trade/Work - The short version of what you do
work/own - Do you won the business (work for yourself is the same thing) or an employee
Length - How long u been in that sort of work so people know what level of knowledge you have (we could actually put the years started so t doesnt have to ever be updated
Area- Suburb and state so they know if they're calling for advise only or if you can do the work itself
Contact - If you dont actually do it for youself you might not want to put a number but u can put PM there so people can contact you for advise only

Thoughts?

sounds like a goo idea, i need an electrician, lol

sounds good if you were in sydney id get a mate to call around to have a look why there sparks or none
