Seen this vehicle and met you Chris in 1995 at the Rockhampton Motor show, I had my Nitrous 308 SL/R Torana there.

Cheers Rob

Those shows in Rocky were a blast. I seem to remember a guy in a Torana travelling about a million miles to get there?

I'm in Brisbane now, the Hatch is still in Rockhampton. The last I heard it had suffered accident damage to the front and the owner could not get anyone to repair it.

Great to see you still have the wagon, all the time I spent around that car and I have very few photos of it. I've been showing some mates the photos on this site.

Still the most enjoyable show I've ever entered, gees they looked after us, mystery bus tour, free BBQ when we set up, free grog on the tour and free accomodation.

The bus tour was a blast, our guide was drunk as, cant remember his name but he was building a black 34 Chev coupe, very funny dude.

We got chased out of the resort after a few guys got inspired and went down the water slide, still fully dressed...... Twisted Evil

I was the guy that travelled a million miles to be there but given my time over again I'd be there in a heartbeat.

Cheers Rob

Looks Fantastic Chris!

I have pics of it when it was blue with a WB Statesman Front from when it used to get around Bundy.

I also remember when you picked it up from Barsby's and it sat under the house where you were living in Maryborough for some time.  Painted in Grey Primer from memory.

There's something in the back of my mind that you may have dressed it up for one of the Maryborough Street Machine Springtime Festivals.  I think I have a photo of it with the Trophies sitting on the bonnet.  I'll have to go through my Albums.

Great to see you eventually were able to fulfil your Dream and that you stuck with your idea of a V6.

Well done!

The rear hatch was the only thing I used off the blue one, that thing looked ok, but it was made out of bog, I scrapped the body and started again. The car show "dress-up" was actually my red Sandman ute and we did the rest with cardboard and house paint. I'll dig out some pics.
