Hey guys got a message today with some info on the QR code, this is what it said:

I am doing some research on body plates and found some on your site.

There was a qustion re the QR on the HQ Belmont van tags, both 308 and 202.

ALL Sydney built HQs have this.

It goes back to HT with TR thorugh to HZ with ZR.

QR is HQ Right hand drive.

Here's some numbers i have out of an old Rare Spares book, might be helpful to someone, looks like Leonies was the older type id carried over from the HG.

Regarding Rusty's question about the difference in the tags.
The way the tags were marked changed during the HQ series when the series 2 model
HQ was introduced.The series 2 HQ was ready for the metric system and the new regulations to be introduced in the up coming HJ model.These are the HQ's with the MPH/KPH speedos and orange front indicators and different wiring,fuel senders etc.
