BATHURST 2013

All roads lead will again lead to the World renowned Mount Panorama Racing Circuit, Bathurst NSW during the weekend of March 16th and 17th 2013 for the 2nd annual running of the Bathurst Valvoline Autofest.

Organisers of the highly successful Valvoline Autofest Car Festivals have scheduled yet another high-octane event and expect large crowds from across the country to come see the cars fly at Mount Panorama.

The Bathurst Valvoline Autofest will be held in and around the month of March over the next 5 years and will feature events such as Go To Whoa, Autokana, Dyno Comp, Indoor and Outdoor Show N Shine, Trade Displays and everyone's favorite, the all Mighty Burnout Competition and Online Entry and other related forms are now posted at www.autofest.com.au.

Team Extreme will be making a New South Wales appearance with new members that include South Australian Marcus Schwirse in the all new "BLOWN" VE Holden Ute as well as Steve Nogas in the already famous "KILLA B" Camaro and add to this line up the ever popular Adam "Numnutz" Slorach and John "Junior" Taverna this team are sure to excite all with their awesome supercharged weapons in a traditional Ford V Holden Showdown.

A variety of entertainment is on offer with rides for the kids, merchandise and trade displays. The event is alcohol free, fully catered and is an affordable family day out.

Organiser, Di Adams said that the response since the first announcement of the Bathurst Car Festival event had exceeded her expectations.

“We expect entries from most State's of Australia and the Bathurst Regional Council and local Bathurst community groups have been fantastic to work with”.

Organisers said they anticipated the weekend of horsepower to quickly become one of the most exciting Motor Sport events in New South Wales.

Events such as the Valvoline Autofest play an important role in regional economies through boosting spend on retail and accommodation.”

A multi media advertising campaign promoting Bathurst Valvoline Autofest will commence shortly, with a focus on TV and Radio in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

Hope many of you get up and support the Autofest Crew up at their next event at Mount Panorama Bathurst, you won't see dirt and dust up there just concrete, tarmac and we have the keys to the Pit Complex it just don't get any better than the Home of Aussie Motorsport and we lucky buggers are the only ones allowed to run not only a Skid Comp but also Go To Whoa and some straight line fun on Pit Straight and the viewing is from the roof and balcony's behind glass on the pit comples as well as grassed spectator mounds. No other venue comes close!

There is also CHEAP ONSITE Camping as well and these are powered and there are brand new tiolet/shower blocks there as well so there no excuses not to be there.

More Exciting NEWS for the upcoming Bathurst Valvoline Autofest, the Green Light has today been given for an ALL NEW event at Bathurst to be known as the "Auto One Super Sprint" that will be held on both days of the Bathurst Autofest on the World Famous Pit Straight. Competitors will be given the opportunity to compete side by side over 160 metres from a rolling start to see who has the Fastest Machine and a total of 7 classes will be up for grabs.

Thanks must go to the Bathurst Regional Council, CAMS and Auto One for working with the Autofest Group in allowing this new event to be granted.

The Auto One Super Sprints will be added to an already Action Packed Program that also includes the Street Machine Go To Whoa, ACM Dyno Challenge, Shannons Showcar & Streetcar Masters, Kelso Truck Tyre & Mechanical Burnout Masters, Valvoline Mount Panorama Cruise Sessions, Trade Alley and the list goes on, so where else would you want to be but at the Bathurst Valvoline Autofest from March 16th and 17th 2013.

Entry's are still available by either online or emailing us your contact details or you even enter on the weekend at the event, Mount Panorama Bathurst on Friday March 15th from 4pm to 6pm and again on Saturday 16th March from 8.30am till 2pm.

Great picture Jon, thanks for posting.
Top weekend at Autofest , drove the wheels off the Torana ran sweet all weekend. Front tyres feel like they are 50 cent pieces ,brakes are a bit soft now and rear tyres missing tread.
Weekend was topped off with 1st place in standard paint. Will be back next year.

OK all of the 2013-2014 Autofest Series of events Entrant Forms are now posted at www.autofest.com.au so if you want to be part of the Action get yourselves sorted by either filling your Entrant Form online or by downloading one.
NOTE! Our Melbourne Event "FULL" Entrant numbers are limited to just 300 so if you plan to go to this event best you get in nice and early or risk missing out.
Indoor Show Entrants are also advised to get in early as this too will operate as a first in best dressed policy.
