CHARITY CRUIZE
I posted this in the Event Section also.
Hi guys,
I'm thinking of organising a Charity Cruise early next year, possibly January or February.
The charity I'm thinking of is Cystic Fibrosis.
I'm thinking of doing either Bright, Myrtleford and Mount Beauty OR a "Ned Kelly" run, which would be around Glenrowan, Beechworth (with its famous bakery) and Euroa area.
What I'm looking for at the moment is who would be interested in joining in on this cruise?
Which area you would prefer. Both are a few hours drive from both Melbourne and Albury.
Would you prefer it to be a weekend or a one day event. If people wanted this to be a weekend event, there are a number of places around both of these areas that we could stay.
PLEASE NOTE - As this run would be a fundraiser for charity there will be an entry fee. If we do a weekend cruise then there would be other activities that would be used to raise money (auction, raffles and games).
Cheers

Re: CHARITY CRUIZE
Great idea,
Not sure of the location for a big number of entrants, but I understand what you're doing and that's cool.
I get excited every time I see an ad for an event and then realise it's a major drive just to get there from my place. One day there'll be something that's a reasonable day trip for me and I'll be there!

Sounds like a great idea for one in every state. If your able to co-ordinate that side of the country that would be great.
I haven't set any firm dates yet as I'm just seeing what interest there is.
