Ford 9" ratio's

Whats a good ratio for a 9" for street use its behind a 5ltr with a T400.At this time its running a 411 and its to low 140ks = 80 kph road speed to slow but it lights the tyres up good.LOL

What diameter /tyre size James ,as this can make a difference to the final ratio .
An average ratio would be around 3.0s--3.5s say with 14-15 inch rims . 3.25s would
be a good happy medium between the two...

3:1 or 3.25:1 would be good streetable ratios depending on what you want to use the van for?

Yep 3.25:1 worked good in the HK in third gear of the turbo 700 (1.1)

4th gear at 100km/h it could have been 3.5:1 with the overdrive.

That was with a 265/50R14 tyre.
