MV have a hand in saving another van

For those of you that are not on facebook you would have missed todays events.
Rohan Gould brought to our attention that Triple M was running a competition called 'Blow up my Bomb'
where they were getting people to nominate their old cars to be blown up for the chance of winning a brand new Mitsubishi Triton.
The showing of this picture sparked a wave of support from Majestic members and supporters who started posting comments damning Triple M for even considering blow up a classic vehicle.
Further to this Mully set up a page called 'Save the Van from MMM' and started inviting vanners to join in support of the cause. He also contacted the radio station to speak on behalf of vanners to relay our disgust at the prospect of blowing up a van that we could all see potential in. Mully was then interviewed on air by 'Dangerous Dave' where he did his best to promote the vanning scene, our passion, Majestic Vanners and the Vic State Titles on Sunday.
After the interview the picture Triple M had up was changed:
Over the course of the day Mully page had grown to nearly 300 members! And after the drive time show that announced the cars that would be participating in the competition Dangerous Dave called Mully and said "Due to an overwhelming response to the cause of saving this panel van, Triple M have decided not to include it in the list of finalists to be blown up"
Well done Mully, well done Majestics and well done to people power!
