Baby seat.

Can anyone tell me, whats involved in putting a baby seat in my Escort van.Do i have to get it engineered or what.

My guess is that it will need to be Engineered as it is not a Standard Fitting in your Vehicle and the Mounting Point and Structure will have to meet the minimum Engineering requirements to meet the RTA Guidelines.

Check out the Guide you posted up a while ago. It outlined what had to be Engineered and what didn't.

NSW has approved baby seat fitting stations.
Most likely will be one of those adjustable bars across (quarter to quarter) that needs to be fitted.
I had one in the back of my old Mitsubishi Express Van for the folding rear seat.
