Re: Can anyone tell what colour this is
Looks like a faded Sherwood Green. Ford had plenty of greens to choose from in the day, but not many to match that color.
Here are some that don't match. Might make the search narrow a little.
Y396, Lime Glaze
Y051, New England Green
Z840 / T, Lime Glaze
Z831 / Y. Kelly Green
Z819 / I, Jewel Green
Y280, Zircon Green
Z869, Spearmint
Y145, Woodsman green
Y390, Euclid Green
Theres more but i can't find them right now.

Re: Can anyone tell what colour this is
glad to help. Still not sure if we have answered the original question.
Re: Can anyone tell what colour this is
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The down side with Ford, is they can have the same colour code for 3 different colours and sometimes there all blue metallics or green metallics etc. It can be a real pain in the ass to workout sometimes without having the actual colour chips.
Ford still haven't learnt as they still do it today
i think i will stay with 1972 Wild Violet. So much easier

One of our members on here owns the only GT van ever built! Voted rarest Ford at Fords 75th Anniversary and its Wild Violet too!

Re: Can anyone tell what colour this is
I thought Ford Sherwood was the Colour I have on my Steering Wheel and Column - it's Metallic.
(Hmmm, should have Vacced the Floor - DOH!)
But it was a long time ago that I painted it.
Did the 1 Tonner Chassis and Interior in the same colour with the outside of the Cab in Antelope, same as the Wagon.
regards
Rusty!

Re: Can anyone tell what colour this is
It's possible your green is sherwood. It looks different in various lighting conditions. When the clear coat fades it has the same look as the ute in the first picture displayed. The chalky appearance also adds to the lighter look of the color.
Re: Can anyone tell what colour this is
I sent the guy a email and this is what he sent me back
the paint code on the compliance plate was 'E'. It was a metallic paint. Hope it goes well,
Paul.
