Current Date/Time on the forum
I have been having this issue for about three weeks now...
Is any one else having issue with the Current Date/Time on the forum?
It is telling me the current time is now 13:20, when it is actually 10:20. It is really annoying as it tells me the wrong time that a post has been written.
I am just wondering whether some setting has changed in my profile or everyone has the same issue??

RE: Current Date/ Time on the forum
Hey Karl we have had this problem for a long while now, have spoken to Rob about this before.
I posted a birthday notice to Gary this morning at 7:16 and the forum tells me its 22:16.
Don't know how to fix this so have just put up with it.

Re: Current Date/Time on the forum
Well it's happening to me on both my HTC phone and my Samsung netbook at home (both are displaying the same wrong time) so it can't just be a crapple thing.

Re: Current Date/Time on the forum
In your profile settings does it have a time zone? I'll have a look tonight when I get home.

Re: Current Date/Time on the forum
I agree about the posting time error from a desktop perspective.
Also really appreciate all the efforts of everybody, particularly those that make it work smoothly but is it also possible to get a year on the forum posts. Sometimes you're looking back over a thread thinking its this year or last at the latest and then you read on and you work out it must be two or three years ago. Having said that, I appreciate that sometimes nothing can be done because of the host website used.

Something upset the preferences.
Go to Profile>Preferences (tab)>Timezone and adjust to local region.

Yeah mine was on Istanbul also. Something has stuffed things up because I know I had set it correctly previously.

Well now that we've all returned to Melbourne from Instanbul, maybe our times will now be correct again.

Re: Current Date/Time on the forum
Good pick up James, I tried rechecked the forum time setting today on my phone at work and it looked to be correct and I checked it when Joe first mentioned it so was pretty sure it was right.
I just got on to check the profile and you'd solved it!
I'm guessing the provider has done an update and it's sent us all O/S.
Thanks James for solving the riddle and thanks everyone for your patience.

Thanks again to James for helping out.
I was away from Work and my Computer on Friday, and generally busy with Family and Mates on the weekends.
Here is a Screenshot to demonstrate where to find & make the changes required:
Green to change Time Zone and Yellow to change how the Date Format is displayed.
