refitting door hinges
Looking for a secret!
I have the doors (and everything else) off my HG van body. The door hinges have been removed and repaired. All sheet metal has been taken back to bare metal, so there are no telltale marks for hinge re installation. I want to trial fit the doors prior to final painting, and seek your advice on methods to correctly align the hinges. (I will then leave the hinges attached to the doors, ready for refitting later)

Re: refitting door hinges
wouldn't you just bolt them all up but leave them slightly loose. enough to wiggle the door into the correct position then tighten?

Re: refitting door hinges
One I have been told is to gap/square up the latch & bottom side of the
door first then sit the guard on to check the front gaps....
(I am not a p/beater)...
