HELP NEEDED WITH ELECTRICAL ISSUES

My pilot car, a 4L XH Ford has a major electrical problem.
It shut down whilst being driven a week ago and now won't start.
It is getting an electrical pulse for a few seconds and then nothing.
We've changed relays, distributor and ignition module all without resolving the problem.
Checked all fuses too and they're all ok.

Apart from buying a does anyone have any ideas PLEASE?

Sam has already suggested BURNING IT.

Those Falcon sixes cook coils. They heat up and hairline crack and from that point on your knackered.
Change the coil and see if that gets the old bus going!

Yeah, my el wagon cooked a coil so i got a longer coil lead and a new coil and mounted it up higher in the engine bay away from the heat in the stupid place ford mount it.
mines now near my shock tower.
pull your coil lead mully if you can and crank the engine and see if you have spark?
if not change the coil.

Try the BCM (Body control module) located just right of centre of the lower dash. It has the smartlock etc. and are known to fail.
Some times an old fashion give the dash a belt works.

and are you sure it's not a fuel pump/fuel issue?
and if worst comes to worst and you have to tow the car to a good mechanic, i highly recommend lakeside automotive in reservoir.

What ended up being the problem with the work van ?

crap.
Still not going. Short of replacing engine everything else has been changed.

Well what can I say
Except for maybe it's time to find a new mechanic/auto sparky that wants to/knows how to
fix the ford with out a box of matches.
There's only two things that will stop it from running, fuel & spark  so it carnt be getting one of them.

Got a phone call from the mechanic just now. was a wire on gas system that was allowing gas to prime into converter but not allowing fuel into injectors. That was how it was explained to me anyway.
