Hey Karl and Trish, thanks for bringing the newbie for a visit it was pretty cool opening doors, turning on lights, checking under the hood and just a general 'feel' over.

Thanks Smooth.
Pretty cool huh.
One for the Trainspotters, Karl and I put our heads together decoding the number plate...
Here's what we discovered.... Karl was able to decipher the letters TFV.... meaning The F%@k Van and I
was able to enlighten him on the numbers One 'Ate' One being the actual metric conversion for Sixty Nine..
Van On Joe...

Re: Look What Visited Loflyr today.
Thanks guys!
Very happy with the new purchase, now Trish and I will have a van each to take on runs and there won't be a need for the family car to follow along for the kids.
I have always been a fan and supporter of the V-Series vans, and I am very happy to now be the proud owner of a genuine HBD Sandman.
Thank you Joe and Angelique for sharing the new purchase with you guys on the forum, it has been a crazy couple of weeks for me as I have been working crazy hours on the Shutdown at the Steel Mill and have barely had a chance to do anything outside of working.
I will start a new topic in the My Van section for the new van with some pics and more details.
Smooth, I am keen on checking out some of the details in your data base, do you have a link I could follow?
Cheers,
Karl

Hi Karl,
Congrats on your V-Series purchase. The V-Series data-base is to help keep track of these limited vehicles. I compiled the data-base after talking with Blu (VooDoo Blues) and I have created a folder to keep images in along with a text based data-base with Rego number, Chassis and Engine numbers etc. Of the 224 original HBD Sandmans I have over 100 in the data-base along with any AMCAT conversions I can find up to date. Then I updated to include the new VF Sandman so now it covers VU to VF. The data-base is not viewable to the public, although I will share relevant information about any particular V-Series that is in question.
People can contribute themselves via online form.
All V-Series contributions are appreciated
Regards, Smooth
