Clearly, whoever says that Sandman utes don't exist is a knob, and doesn't know what they are on about.

It would be good to see it at Colac. Good place to stick a for sale sign on it.

Cheers

Looks like a real car Allan. You've been hard at it. I'm still planning on being there on the 16th. Not sure if I'll take the van yet.

Yeah Rusty plenty of sweat... I'll give you a tip.

Been roadworthied.... If i'm alllowed to call it that.
Plenty of little picky shit, you get that when you don't replace every nut & bolt on a rebuild.

Just a little pissed that I'm unbolting perfectly fine parts (engine bay), so it's back to so-called original for roady.... Replacing holley's with pollution carbi's....etc etc....
Did another transmission swap today, rebuilt one very clunky & had a main seal leak... Just what the doctor ordered when your on a car show deadline.... Anyways, keep plodding along.
P.s. New transmission is the bomb.!!! Very Happy

What a crock. Some of these pricks get their jollies by picking on your hard work. I guess when it's done, it will be worth it!

Hey Allan, great to see the girl with the rego plates on it. Front spoiler looks tops, and the overall thing is sure to get plenty of attention. You must be stoked with the result.

Which show are you taking her to? I'm going to Queenscliff today.

Cheers

That's a very good question....
Spent thousands getting the beasty on the road....
Somewhere between 10-20k is a very large ranged estimate....

Rusty's 77 sandman replica went for $20k so i'm basing that with what i spent & hours of sweat.
As the real estate agents say....
I'll let the market choose the price, i know what i want, anything mores a bonus.

Cheers Al.

I was thinking around 10-12 for mine, but if I got more as you said that'd be a bonus.

Ebays full of experts Al, I had the same problem when I sold my SL/R 5000, one guy said "his mate looked up the numbers and it's not a real one, so I'll give you 2K for it". Laughing I told him I had a letter from Holden saying it was and they built the thing so they should know and if he didnt buy it Im sure someone else would, 4 days it was gone. Cool
