MY GTS over the years

Hi all, heres a series of pictures of my HZ GTS in several different styles over the years.















This injection conversion was done when I was a 3rd yr apprentice mechanic in1995
which makes it one of the early conversion of this type and Im still doing them

i had a HZ GTS that lookd the same at 88Nats but was red with the bug catcher and twin 4s

Heres a couple of pics of a red HZ GTS that was shown at Young's Autopro's 1st carshow back 2007 when I worked there. Made me wish mine was still registered, good motorvation tho.

So what exactly is needed to put injected motor in a WB
looking at getting a VQ to do the conversion

A sump.

WB engine mounts and sump/pickup, being a vq there is no security in the computer so it just needs to be wired in by someone who knows how, return fuel line to fuel tank , efi fuel pump (have found the external fuel pump setup from a vl 6cyl with a bosch 044 works very well but a standard vl pump will do fine for a stocker), t-drive adapter for the speedo to run a cable and electric sender for the computer to work the torque convertor lockup (vq statesman would be auto), a crossmember to suit a th350 will fit the th700 and I think the tailshaft will to or just get yours modified. Let me know if you need it wired, just started doing the conversion to efi on KILLER HQ, keep an eye on it and see what you think.
