Van & Car Show Geelong 20th March 2010

For those of you who might be able to make it:

I have been advised as follows:

The mini van & car show part is free entry & only will have 6 judges choice car park trophies very low key judging.

If any one wants to compete in the MEA SQ comp its $35.00 ea car to enter and trophies for all MEA SQ classes
and free SPL test & tunes ( no trophies )

Sorry Al, Both you and Perry are both COOL, I just bought a 1970 Z28 Camaro so I will park the van in the shed for a while as having come back to the van scene after many years a small majority have left a bitter taste in my mouth, And we all know who they are, Shit- there I go again Al....

Gee Andrew I thought I was bad about the sleeping mixup in Canberra during the Summernats but one or two car shows has put you off vanning. I thought you had a thicker skin than that. I have gotten over the sleeping mixup and forgiven you but dont be put off because of the actions of a small minority. Yes I give you a hard time but you deserve it

I have been in and out of vanning a long time but once you become a vanner you will always remain a vanner.

In fact, by buying a Camaro is very similar to another Victorian vanner that I know, he has a 66 Chrysler 300 TNT 440.

Now you will have 2 toys, and your son's Gemmy van, make that 3 toys to play with.

Hey Sean owning a van doesnt make you a vanner, I own several vans and Im definately NOT a vanner. Im a car enthusiast thats owns a few vans. And I hear you Andrew and know what you mean.

Oh and Andrew glad to hear you got a Camaro, you'll have to show us some photos of it and try and find me a '67!

1970 Geniune Z28, 350 Crate motor, Turbo 350, 12 bolt rear, got my brother to put it on his hoist and he says its a cherry, so deal done and going to get the guy who brought my diff back from the states to bring it shortly and will probly fly up to Brissie and drive it home on a permit, Cheers andrew.

Just caught up with this thread (yeah, been away and haven't kept up with the forum).

I didn't go to the mini van show, partly because I'm supporting my Majestic Vanning brother from the Latrobe Valley, and partly because I couldn't be bothered wading through the doof-doof to see a couple of vans I'd already seen before.

Andrew - I love your car. I assume you have it home by now. When can we see it?

Good to have you back Perry! Been a bit quiet without you. Yeah Andrew hurry up and get that Camaro back here so we can all meet up and go cruising. But I heard if your importing a car, dont ring up and try and rush your approval through, apparently they dont like it!
