Hi Rob, John (Time Lapse) came down to my place yesterday, we were saying the same thing, where are all the old vans!!! Surely there must still be heaps parked up in sheds somewhere. The money that was spent on these vans in the day was amazing so you would imagine they would have to be saved. John showed me the photo of Scorpian as it is today, that is just heart breaking, I can only imagine how the original van owner feels!!The Zodiac wrote:Makes you wonder where they all went????????

looks like a pic from the late 80's ?
Chances are that there's not 2 of these with a single window right in the middle of the panels
I know the owner, although i can never remember his name.
He was a skater from Bankstown in the 80s and used to own the FE (or is it FC - not good with those models) that was used in Running On Empty that the Gazzard boys drove
he still owns the van and used to compete in the Summernats burnout comp for years and was in the masters - might still be in it even, not sure
It's got TUFF E plates and runs a big block chev nowadays

The Gazzard boys drove an EK/FB in Running on Empty and the guy your thinking of is Greg Gleeson I think he owned TUFF E.
