Wb power steering conversion
Hi All ,haven't been on here for ages!! been stripping down my pano,hope all your projects are going well guys !!! Question ?? I have a powersteering box and a Chev pump on the 350 is there anything else that I need for the conversion ???
Will be sandblasting the front rails and bit this weekand painting with P0r15 so progress is being made !!! just having a problem getting the drag link off!!! I have a tierod splitter but can't get it to work on the joint!!!

You will need longer hoses as the Chev ps box mounts on the other side.

Steering arms are a different length too I'm fairly sure.

Forgot about that Rob and also the coupling and bolts that joins the box to the steering shaft.

Cheers guys ,got the hose sorted. I've trial fitted the S/Box seems ok ,coupling came with box,what should I look out for measurments ??
Geezzz I'm having a Woopsie of a tie getting the drag link track rod separated from the Idler arm !!any ideas just can't get a splitter of any form to work!!!

I remember having major trouble getting the drag link to seperate from the steering box when I did my power steering upgrade aswell, those tapers tend to hold on well after 30 years!
It took alot of swearing and belting the absolute crap out it to get it to seperate! I was using an old axe handle on top of the pin and a mash hammer to knock it out! It eventually gave way. I would try some super release agent (I wish I knew about this stuff back then) its great stuff, should do the trick... good luck!

Yeah mate what a mish!!! I think I will give up ,Ive got the one off the steering box so I took Idler arm still attached to the draglink rod so I will replace the lot!! some good prices on Ebay!
