NAME THAT VAN

Hi all am going to be loading up all my photos from yesteryear and will need some help with IDing some vans which I no longer remember owners or Names of vans

here is the first VAN318

This one was at a show in Sydney I think it may have been in 84 at a wisemans ferry
same with this one
I must say brown was popular back then here is another same show
even Frez got into the action Brown what a trend setter I remember repairing the poor old girl due to an incedent when he was comming over for a visit.

Oh I think this one was called Vanish or Vanishing taken at the Wagga Easter Nats back when summer nats was in comp with street machine nats it was bright I meen the photo doesnt do it justice Irridescent yellow as in Safety Yellow with one hell of a roll cage in it, This Van stuck out like the bigest set of Dog Balls you have ever seen

well there are a few to start with some may have progressed but who knows more to follow

Pretty sure we've got all of them in the Van Register except the blue one and Vanish.

Van 318 is Evil Dreaming.

The first brown one might be TOM295 (Craig Anderson, M Elbourne)

The one with the heart window Smooth knows. She's My Lady?

Gary Nichol painted it for his brother this photo was taken soon after and then the Van was sold never new what happened to it after that`, had plenty of potential

I will add the photos to their correct threads when Identified as I have more than 1 of most of them just too many to add at this point of ID-ing

A guy on wastebook commented the other day on a pic of Street Legal, saying his dad had a van similar in his used car yard in Sydney years ago but it was silver and black.

Wonder if it was this van??

Jeez, I remember we used to cruise Parramatta Rd and see Vans just like that Silver/Black version along with mock SLR5000 Toranas and GT Falcons in cars yards. Went on for miles and miles. None were top quality (apart from Alley Cat) just unfinished/lost enthusiasm types that these dodgy used salesman loved.

I drove Parramatta Road a couple a weeks ago, what a sad, sad state of affairs it is today.

I remember cleaning up a van on Canerbury Rd in a car yard when I was into rebuild # 2 some kid came in and bought it as his brother used to rave about this show van I cant remember the name of the van had some murals was a HQ six, really need a complete resto Kid got stung for $9,000 couldnt beleive it back then. was also silver
remember looking at Moody blue on Parramatta road It was in prety good nick back then carnt remember for how much just remember seeing it a few years later with a primered standard front and really thrashed guy want 3k told him he was dreaming.
Was offered Invader 2000 body for $1500 from wreckers in Bankstown, was told later by mate who wrked there that it ended up going to sims metal.

Oh thats a releif would have been a shame, oh and it wasnt moody blues I saw it was chrome on blue I think, had chrome 253 and jag rear vaguely remember girls face mural on it so many years have gone by and memory isnt what it used to be, I think the 20 years spent in isolation with the only focus on my kids has taken its toll.

Yes it sure did was trying to post 5 different ford vans that I cant remember the names of and looks like High seas is protecting my dignity on the forum................................WTF.....................WAS LATE.................. posted up heaps of photos as you probably saw including high seas which I was having similar problem, but I was previewing all the other post....... still got to admit it is funny
