New member from across the water in UK
Hi everyone,
My name is Justin and I currently own two Escort vans, amongst other cars. My Mk1 Escort van is a 1968 stock van with the original 12" wheels, 1300cc engine and starting handle. I also own a 1979 Escort Sundowner 2.0L. I bought this 10 years ago as my brother now lives in Queensland and he rang me up one day to tell me there was a Sundowner for sale. At first I didnt know what it was but after a small amount of research I decided to buy it.
It then spent the next 9 years in my brothers house untill a few months ago I finally imported the van over the UK. It requres a bit of work but isnt too bad.
Keep up the good work with the site!
Best regards
Justin H

Hi and thanks for the welcome, so your from this little island too originally? Where about's did you originate from then? I'm based in N Wales about 10 miles from 'Sunny Rhyl'
I will post some more recent pictures of the van in the other section. The one picture I have posted already is in 2003, soon after I bought it. It doesn't look as good now thought i'm afraid. I should have imported it sooner but there we go. . .one of those things. Must admit there is some cracking looking vans on here with big engines.
I will post some pictures soon
Regards
Justin
