VU SS original panelvan
Hi
Was just wanting to see if there was any interest out there ! Or any ideas where to advertise !
I've got one of the original Vu SS panelvans 2002
Its going up for sale ! I've had it for 10 years now has no mods except rims has been garaged its whole life. Has only 110000km approx on the clock And only about 200km in the last four years . Colour is tiger mica !

At the end of the day all it is a GLORIFIED ute with a canopy on the back REAL panelvans were made in the 60's and 70's but Hey that's just my opinion.

Yeah, yeah we've all been through this pointless argument before.
Who cares? I'd still have one as a daily driver.
Based off your theory my 81 WB isn't a real van...............it's not a 60's or 70's van.
As you said it's only your opinion, and if you've got nothing nice to say it's best to say nothing at all in most cases.

What a stupid and naive opinion and pretty poor form on a public forum. It's somebodies pride and joy and they like me share a different opinion. We're not bagging out on your Van (or type) pull your head in.gazza-1975 wrote:At the end of the day all it is a GLORIFIED ute with a canopy on the back REAL panelvans were made in the 60's and 70's but Hey that's just my opinion.

Re: VU SS original panelvan
You have the option to list it for sale in "The Swap Meet" section of this forum https://majesticvanners.forumotion.com/f10-the-swap-meetMambo8 wrote:Was just wanting to see if there was any interest out there ! Or any ideas where to advertise !
You will also find www.gumtree.com.au worthwhile along with ebay's Buy It Now option.
Always include as much information as possible with quality photographs.
Be honest about all points, good and bad and I'm sure you'll find a buyer. These are becoming more and more desirable to true Vanners everyday.
Interest has grown even from nay sayers as the price drops and there wallet and aspirations start to combine.
Did you have a price in mind?

Re: VU SS original panelvan
Hmmmm..... just reading the comments and yes it was stupid and immature to say things like that and I do apologize. I did not want to offend or upset anyone.I first saw one of these VU vans at the 2005 summernats and it had the most insane paint job you had ever seen. There was a lot of security and interest around the van, but I got the chance to have better look and was very disappointed.G.M.H is a multimillion company and could of put more build quality into this van.Where as the new revamped Holden monaro was better and kept to a Aussie Icon. A lesson has been learn't and now will go easy on the bottle. I wish mambo8 all the best in selling his van.
If I here someone is looking for one I will let you know.

Re: VU SS original panelvan
Gary,
I won't hold a grudge but please be mindful that "everybody" has opinions about all and sundry.
If we were all to point out our dislikes we wouldn't have much of a forum or community. I been around vanning and vanners for decades and if you want to get on the outer it is very, very easy.
I own HT/HG Vans and been through multiple HQ-HZ's in my time. The VU-VE Vans are just as great for all the same reasons and better in others.
Live and respect others decisions and broaden your outlook. I was once all metal bumpers also...
It's one one thing to have a jibe, it is quite another to disrespect.
Regards, Smooth
