Lung transplant

I'm getting a work up for a lung transplant, scary stuff just started the work up had all the bloods.Next is everything else to go, but i don't know if i'm doing the right thing ; scared Woopsie less I have been reading the net on life expectancys 
some are good but some are very bad worse than i have now .They can range from 12 mths to 15 yrs,Its the hardest thing i'll ever do

Don't always beleive what you read on the net. 
Sometimes too much info can just confuse you and everybody is different
My doctors told me I probably wouldn't walk ,well guess what ,only use a walking stick now..
YOU WILL BE FINE ...just have to be positive..

I'm only doing the work up at this time,if and thats a big if they say yes it could take up to 2yrs

Use the net for van stuff and the doctors for medical stuff every ones diagnosis is different the net doesn't have access to your doctors reports and tests .

ill be sending lots of healing vibes and support! A friend had a lung transplant and of 2010. and even though she passed away a year ago on the 8th of august. Her quality of life after recieving those lungs increased 10 fold. she had so much more freedom as well 
so it is scary, thinking about new lungs but you will be awesome and have lots of us here and your family and friends for support
and you will be ok and you wont look back not at all
