If it's an EBAY one, be careful. Have seen module issues on Brand new ones.
They usually have 2 wires coming out. Red to + on coil & Black to - on coil.

Re: IGNITION PROBLEM ,, POINTS TO ELETRIC
What are the colour of the wires please ?
If it's bosch there should be one pink ,one green
The pink one has to go to the key & HAVE 12v WHILE IN THE CRANKING POSITION & POSATIVE OF THE COIL
green goes to the NEGETIVE OF THE COIL ONLY
Ymay have another wire to the negative of the coil for the factory tachometer ..

Re: IGNITION PROBLEM ,, POINTS TO ELETRIC
Make sure you are using a electronic ignition coil (they are completely different).

Re: IGNITION PROBLEM ,, POINTS TO ELETRIC
I've got a WB dizzy in my HZ. Still have the original resistive coil on it as well.
All i did was to put:
a) the black to the negative side of the coil.
b) leave the resistive wire going to the coil.
c) have a 12v supply to the red dizzy wire.
All works great.....SO FAR!

Re: IGNITION PROBLEM ,, POINTS TO ELETRIC
Bosch coil GT40R is designed to be used with a resistor that drops the voltage
to 9 volts (better for points).doesnt burn the points as bad.
GT40 coil is for 12 volts (Electronic ignition)
