Melbourne based members - Convoy to the Bathurst Van Nationals
With a week to go before we leave I thought I would put up the plans for our convoy to the Bathurst Van Nationals.
We are planning to leave on Thursday morning, the 2nd of April.
Myself, Trish and the kids, Chris, Charmaine & Renae, Gary & Gill, Mully and Dmul, (& Kane?) will leave Cranbourne and make our way to meet up with Joe and Angelique at around 7.00 am along our way, before heading out of Melbourne towards Yea.
We will come out on the Hume at Benalla and continue on to meet up with Sam, Ken, Brad and Brenda at Glenrowan at around 10.00am. we will then continue on to Gundagai where we will arrive early afternoon, relax after the first leg of our trip, and settle in as we will all be staying at the Gundagai Tourist Park for the night.
We head off early in the morning from Gundagai and continue our convoy to Bathurst, hoping to arrive at the Van Nationals around lunchtime on the Friday.
Anyone who is interested in traveling up with us, please let us now here. If you are traveling around the same time we can make arrangements to meet up with you on the way, or alternatively you could catch up with us at Gundagai and join the convoy up to Bathurst.
getting very exciting, not long now... Bring on the Nationals!

Thanks to Sam I've managed to get a transmission for the new van so hopefully I'll be able to get in and bring the real van instead of the pilot car.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I will not be bringing the new van to Bathurst. I've been let down yet again by someone who I was giving a second, no make that a 300th, chance.
On a positive note, I will still be in the Pilot van so I'm still going to be in a van having a great time with my MV family and other vanning friends both old and ones I haven't yet met, AAAAAAND I don't have to worry about the stress of packing cooking equipment (or remembering to put it in the other van) or any other stuff or setting up my van because it's already set up ready to go.
Just need to find the time to give her a wash as I've worked today, again all day tomorrow and then again Wednesday night.
DMUL, you've got the first driving stint on Thursday morning.
