2016 VAN NATS LOCATION ANNOUNCED

Rumour has it that the 2016 Van Nats will be held in Moe

Matt Harris is quoted as saying
"Yes it is moe. Lardner park was looked at but at $4000. Per day just for the venue was not a viable option. Moe race track
Prices and entry forms still being sorted but will be available real soon"


James Ellis also said "Its true Peter Campbell. The Nats will be in Moe. All the details will be out in about a week."

Lardner park is one of the worst locations i've ever been to for car related shows.
they held johns rod and custom picnic there a few years ago after pakenham racecourse where it was traditionally held sold the land for bloody housing development or something along those lines.
pakenham was an awesome location and lardner park was a disgrace.
it soon became apparent as nobody turned up at lardner park and the show then moved to sandown racecourse.

i hope it wont be at lardner park.
it's just a muddy or dusty hole.

wow what a place to have it  dam  mo hole not the greatest place  in gippsland   theres got to be better other places in vic to hold the nats

yeah, kinda agree.
vans natural habitat is coastal.
we sure have plenty of that to choose from.

I am gravely concerned with the road trip to the event - it seems highly inadequate to travel one hour for the NATS?!!!!!
We have to put our heads together and devise a detoured plan !!!!!!!!

lol, i reckon lorne, anglesea,torquay, portsea or rosebud woulda been perfect.

I'm thankful someone has picked up the Baton to ensure there is a 2016 Van Nats where ever it might be.

There is also talk 2017 might be back in WA and organised by Tony Smith.

Great to see people keeping the Dream Alive regardless of the Venue.

An Enormous Amount of Work including sacrificing one's spare time to make the Van Nats happen. My Hat Off and Respect to those that do.

We should cruise up from Vic pick you Guys up head back to Cooma to spend a day at the wrecking yard
then down to Bega to follow the coast road (sh#t loads of photo ops) to Moe
Then back ours  
There's plenty of Sheds and Beds mate.

well neil joes offer preety good to come pick you up and taking you to the town MO HOLE and offering you sheds and beds sounds abit like your bed will be in the shed
l will offer you free bed in coszy house with 6 wonderful acres with stunning views great meals and plenty of free parking in lock up garage 30 min to MO HOLE

We could even start at Wollongong and follow the princes hwy all the way even .
I've done from Rosdale to Cann river then up the Monaro through Cooma to Queanbeyan
in the truck empty .What a great peice of road .
Cann river to Cooma was oarsome ,wish I had the bike that afternoon.
Cooma wreckers wouldbe a must too.....
