Tumut weekend 19th -21st (Easter)

For those that are interested and not going to the Van Nats
We are having a get together in Tumut for the weekend.

Riverglade caravan park is a good place to camp ....
Saturday we will be having an observation run  then dinner at  the local watering hole..
Remember it's all about like minded people having like minded fun..

This is also on for Good Friday and Saturday in town

I will be making a dinner reservation for Saturday night at the Woolpack as it had been suggested by a few members as their pick of places to go to ???? I will ring and confirm a table tomorrow for numbers. If i have not already had a reply from you, I cannot guarantee you a seat. Easter weekend makes little Ol Tumut Town very busy with tourists passing through and staying so it is something that needs to be organised before we all miss out.

And so with the Weekend being Easter, majority of places will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. I have done a ring around of a few places in town to find out their opening times/days. I hope this helps people

Coles and Woolworths: closed Friday & Sunday, both open Saturday.

Golden Chicken: -great place to get your Good Friday fish feed, burgers, chicken & chips. Is open all weekend. 10am-8pm?

KFC & McDonald's are both open all weekend.

Pie in the Sky Bakery: closed Friday. Open sat & sun 7am-2pm.

Trowels Takeaway: open all weekend, from 6am -til they decide to close due to how busy they will be, possibly 2pm.

Tumut River Brewery: Open all Weekend.

Royal Hotel: closed Friday, Saturday 10am-midnight, Sunday 10am-9pm

Woolpack Hotel: closed Friday, open lunch & dinner Saturday, lunch Sunday.
