Re: East Coast Vanners
it's so sad that there are people out there who push good people away just because they don't like their opinions or views, we are all in this cause we like one common thing, why make it a contest, come to the light agro......

Re: East Coast Vanners
I never went to the site, although I've been to a few that have come and gone over the years.
I'm not sure why if someone's site gets hacked, they automatically assume it's another vanner. People see what they want I guess. Politics are for politicians.
Where are my keys? I'm going for a drive.

Re: East Coast Vanners
Some people don't want to be a part of an already existing group and want to form their own so they can lead and call the shots, have the power to ban whoever they don't like.
Not saying this is the case for ECV or HVV but i don't understand the need for so many vanning sites. We can co-ordinate run's in various states from one site.
Our site may not be better than any other site, but i think we set a pretty good bench mark.

Couldn't agree more Troy.
Re: East Coast Vanners
This is the only van site I'm registered on and use, we've got enough going on here to keep me going and interested. I really dont have the patience and time to worry about the rest of them or what they're doing, they excluded us a long time ago and I'm over worrying about them. I'm happy with the crew we've got here.
One thing that doesn't make sense at all to me is if Agro got banned from the site, how did he shut it down?
Agro was registered on this forum but chose to leave and build his own forum quite awhile ago, I think the more forums you have the more separated everyone becomes creating division between the groups, there is to much of this in the van community, they chose to exclude people and there's not enough people in it to be able to afford to leave anyone out.
United we cruise, divided we lose.
And as Perry mentioned why assume it was another vanner?
We've had issues on here to and I've spoken to a mate that runs a modelling forum and we're all using forum motion so perhaps thats where the problem lies?
The person that was causing grief with this forum ended up being from Canada and trying to barrage us with real estate ads. We caught it early so it didn't get out of control, luckily.
Enough of the politics and soap boxing, lets keep the forum up beat, happy and informative and concerntrate on the task at hand!
Spreading the MV spirit and trying to get as many van people together as we can.

It happens everywhere and vanning is not excluded. Water off a ducks back man. Just enjoy vanning and ignore the negative

There's a lot of history in the van scene, most of it I don't know (or care about). Enjoy the cars, and your mates, and leave the crap to other people.
Re: East Coast Vanners
yes unfortunately there is some excluding in the world the VCSA i cruise with here r like u guys here, lovely, down to earth and normal. theres another that stipulates who can run, etc. VCSA didnt even care that my skyline stood in once for the van on a short crusie to get fish and chippys. i did go to school with the organisers tho

Re: East Coast Vanners
Yes it's a common problem, we're lucky on this forum, we all get along great and no ones excluded.
Everyone seems to have the same common interest, we're all building our vans or enjoying our vans and helping each other out the way mates do and it should be.
We have a great crew at MV and are blessed by the friendships we've made because of it. We've had some rough times since 2007 but thats in the past and is old history, who cares about the past lets just all look ahead to a great future hanging and cruising with mates.
Lets just build on what we've got and not worry about the politics and look ahead, not backwards.
Lets leave other forums issues on other forums and keep this one just the way it is, positive and helpful.
