Backseat in a van
Ive just found a backseat out of an xd van and after talking to the bloke I think it should fit in my van. It seems easy enough to put in and remove and I was thinking about getting it and trimming it up the same as my front seat so it looks original but was just wondering do I need to get anything checked out or is just a change of details blue sleep needed to make the van a 5 seater?
also has anyone got / had / or sat in a vans back seat. I honestly think it would be a pain because you wouldnt see anything cause your that much higher but it would just be really handy haha.
Any help?

Re: Backseat in a van
oh ok, was there anything special you needed for the mounting? this seat has a pull tab at the back and it clips out from the floor for easy removal, it also has the seatbelts built into the seat so that makes it alot easier aswell.
He said it was factory fitted in an xe van and used to just bolt on top of the fuel tank cover but im not sure haha

Re: Backseat in a van
It's all to do with Spreading the Load and Surface Area to stop the Mounts pulling through the Floor.
With the Wife's Rolla, we ratted a Wagon for the Factory Mounts and fitted them to Hers.
I hope that helps.
I think I've got the Engineer's requirements somewhere on paper, could take a while to find or they might be available on the Net.
The RTA might also be able to advise.
