It certainly doesn't follow the body line. Easy fix though!

Re: Vans from the Colac show 2010
hehe do any of u have problems looking at cars? i get annoyed as most cars have mismatched paint!!!! colours that dont match. being a painter ruined looking at cars for me , cos it stands out like dogs watsits when colours dont match! haha i made a car yard enemy last year thanks to eagle eye syndrome! parnter was lookig at a r34 GTR. bayside blue. was 50000. the boot, RH rear quarter, and drivers door were not the same colour. and was fresh paint. like not painted long ago at all. there was also a dent in the front R guard. i asked the saleman about it (who incidentally was the owner of the yard) he said "no its not been in any accidents. not had any work done" so i pointed out rather forcibly exactly where it had been painted. and how it was not right. after him getting rather heated he finally said 'oh but its not sustained any structural damage' so then i showed him where the inner seal on the inside of RH quarter from inside the boot was cracked and not painted well. it took a pretty big hit. i think he was mad not jsut because i found something wrong, and caught him out, but cos im a woman who did it! then the skyline we did end up with (we got my automatic one, from their other yard and a nice salesman) but it had to go back to that yard for its first free service. took out own oil. had a massive fight with him how much oil it needed. i told him the correct amount. he insisted it was more. then when i got my car, checked dipstick and told him to empty it as it was WAY past the full!

I reckon I'd like to take you on a visit with me next time I buy a used car, Leonie! It's true though, your job and your passion colours things.
Another example - my wife is a Paramedic (and a nurse for many years before that). Whenever we watch a movie that has a medical scene in it (and you'd be surprised how often it happens), she'll say "What a load of crap. They wouldn't do that.", or "that machine isn't even hooked up to the patient", and so on.
For the rest of us, being unaware is sometimes the best thing. I tend to look at door / bonnet / boot gas now whenever I look at cars at show (if they are being judged), after it was pointed out to me a while back how many cars have uneven gaps.

I come from a mechanical back ground and constantly pick the guts out of movies because of it. We all know that 6/71 blowers can be turned on and off with a splitter on the gearstick, and when you cut the airlines to a truck trailer they loose there brakes or that nitrous is flammable. Some caryards and sales people are bodgy as, you have to be careful some times. I'm a bit dissapointed Leonie that you where looking for a dirty old imported doof doofer.

Re: Vans from the Colac show 2010
I don't mind the taillights in the EJ Van. They fit the body shape and this is customisation.
There was a light green EJ/H Van in Wollongong with the exact same taillight treatment owned by Daryl Duncan (Illawarra Power Steering) and done in the late '70's early '80's.
Maybe it's the same Van?
I don't advocate every EJ/H Van getting the same taillight treatment. But this one passes for me.
Nice ride.
Regards, Smooth
