HJ 'Surfie' Ute

okay, so i've got a '74 HJ Belmont Ute, i'm the 4th generation of my family to own it, originally bought by my Great, Great Uncle Bob from Youngs Motors Geraldton, still got the original plates on it

anyway, we have a local ute show coming up in the next few months so i was thinking of going for a 'surfie' kinda theme with the ute. I've got an old 70's square'ish shaped ute canopy i'm going to clean up and make a roof rack for it, chuck a few surfboards in the roof, the matress out of my pano in the back, find a HJ Grill to replace the HZ one, rip off the roo bar/spotties and put the bench seat back in her, pull the mudflaps off, oh and a wash..

should make a pretty sweet ute with a boot, haha

Cheers Zodiac, its pretty cool, it's been in the shed for the last few years waiting for restoration, put a battery in and she started straight up!

Give the motor a few warm ups before you take her on a decent run,That way it should make the seals a bit more softer so it does not leak,And a good oil change.She looks good mate,Ps check the fuel lines too.
