HQ bonnet.

Any body got any pics of modified bonnets for a HQ? I am going to need about 4 inches of extra height to clear my intake and i was thinking of doing something like they have done in this thread.

I could go with a reverse cowl in glass but to be legal in QLD if your filter is above the original bonnet line the scoop has to be steel.
I dont want to weld in a ford section but more looking for ideas and inspiration on something similar that would suit a HQ.
I like the way that modified ford bonnet curves up from the front. He has obviously taken inspiration from Adam Lebreses coupe. but i like it.
You can buy steel reverse cowles in the U.S. but it would be rs by the time it got here.

Why would it be RS, as i buy lots of stuff from os and never had a problem.

All the stuff i have bought, the boxes look like they have been thrown off every truck and plane between there and here. I would hate to think what a big panel like that would look like on arrival, unless it was very well padded and supported.
