Score of the week! (Got me some more Strikers!)

Went for a cruise today and picked up another set of Strikers! They're not in as good of condition as my last set(brand new) but they're in pretty good nick for their age with just a little surface rust that'll polish off.

Plus they were local being located in Adelong........huge thanks to TUB350(Craig) for the tip off.

Haven't got any plans for them, but they dont come up often so thought I better grab them!
Maybe a spare for Checkmate and two and a spare for the club trailer..............
Also know where there's a set of gold ones.....................now they'd look good on the club trailer!

Was told that the Gold ones are Limited edition's, but don't know how true that is.
I've got a pair of 7's & 8's (14") in the aftermarket type.
Set of 4 14 x 7 Gold ones in original type
Set of 15 x 8 in original type as well.

BUT you've probably got more then me now ...... Wheel Whore!!!!!

Do you know where you can get the wheel nuts for them at all?

Nar nothing limited about the gold ones, I remember seeing them everywhere as a kid and it was just like buying gold or black Hotwires.

I've only got the two sets, this set and my new set I bought awhile ago which are 14x8 and 15x10.

Both of my sets came with them but when I had my gold ones I managed to track down and buy a new set.

Local tyre place, any tyre place can get them in but be prepared to pay the $$$$$$ to get them, I think they where around $8 a nut and that was 15 years ago for my Prem wagon!

Do the 15 x 10's fit under Checkmate with the flares?

Ah... gold strikers.That takes me back to the 80's when they were the classiest wheel to get,but I
could never afford.My friend picked up a set of Apliance gold strikers earlier this year by chance.
He'd been looking for the last five years.
Nice work Rob,they are a collectable item.

Some strikers on a HX Kingy, was a 253 with a Muncie.
Good score Rob, they suit the 70's Holden shape i reckon.
