NSW drivers beware
Found this on faceplant
SCHOOL is out but motorists will still be fined in school zones this week with police enforcing 40km/h limits.
While only teachers would be at work tomorrow and Tuesday, NSW Police confirmed it would still target drivers over 40km/h between 8am and 9.30am and 2.30pm and 4pm because they were gazetted school days.

Re: NSW drivers beware
This is why so many people are screaming for flashing lights to be installed at all school zones.
Those 40Kph zones are not there for revenue raising... they're there to help protect the kids!

I agree but in school holidays they should be covered especially in 100kmph zones like north of Kempsey at 1am cars are hitting the brakes and slowing to 40kms it is real scary when driving a B-double doing a 100kms behind themVanGoes wrote:This is why so many people are screaming for flashing lights to be installed at all school zones.

The kids would be too scared to go to school if they saw that thing coming down the road.

I found exactly the same thing at exactly the same spot. 9 times out of 10, its those damn Queenslanders, I think the school zones in QLD are 40 kph 24/7, what a stupid idea that is!
