Chassis numbers

van finally arrived from mackay ...transport truck broke down, then van wouldnt start [just fitted new starter motor yesterday] in melbourne so had to pay an extra $230 dollars to send it across as a 'non runner' so a month after purchase it arrived ...so off to get tassie rego on it this week...before i start scraping paint off the chassis to find the number are they in the same place as the wb {chassis under my other van} or on the side of the rail ...also needs gutter replaced/ repaired along the front above the screen and around the corner a bit . asked rare spares but its not available as a rust repair section does anyone know if it can be purchased or fabricated anywhere will get some pics sitting beside vandil and post them up soon ...cheers

Chassis numbers are located on top of RH(drivers side) chassis rails. Cheers Rob

As Rob said, near the Steering Box if I remember correctly.

My Wagon's packed behind a Mountain of Gear awaiting the new Shed, so I can't get to it.

I haven't repaired Holden Van Gutters but I've repaired small sections of a Mate's Corolla Wagon. I simply folded the replacement bits up in a Vice and trimmed to suit.

I Brazed them into place with an Oxy.
