Van may have crime history

The article below was in the Bendigo paper last Saturday.



Has anyone ever seen this van?

I notice it has rather distinctive single, long side windows - can't be too may of those around.

This ones for sale on the Majestic Vanners Facebook page at the moment it's in Stawell Victoria. Foxy Lady had windows like that too didnt it?

That's what I was thinking too Jason, it'd list who owned it in '75 and following owners etc surely.

if there was an outstanding fine for parking they would have found the old owner - no problem

I have driven past that green van at least 50 times in the last twelve months or so that it has sat in that paddock for sale. It did have a blue HX or HZ keeping it company for a while but that obviously sold.

There is no way that "Foxy Lady" could be the van in the article as it only had the full length rear windows put in it after Ken Dawson rebuilt in in the mid 80,s with the top chop. Prior to that had two windows on each side with bubble glass in them.

Also I dont think that the green one can be it either as I am fairly sure its still in its original colour with the matching green dash and dash pad.
It would make a great project for someone that wants to do a classic early though . I dont mind the full window look, something a little different. Cant actually believe its still there. Would have thought that someone would have seen the potential in this early bird before now.
