Ford ute.

The new Pursuit ute being released by FPV:It would make a wicked van.

Except it's a pick up not a ute so it'd be a heap of work to do unlike the Holden equivilant which is a ute, not a pick up!

As long as its not a put down but the chev ute is called a pick up in the USA

Not a put down mate, just the truth, see the gap behind the cab...........the ute bodies not connected to the cab.

I'd love to see a few of these grow into vans.

I know what you mean mate,it would be hard to make a van out of it but it would be a mean looking van if you could. Didn't somebody make a ford van ??




And it was a joke, you said its a pickup. So i said as long as its not a putdown.

I would love to see them make a "sandman" type canopy for these utes, but there are two difficulties in making it work, one has already been pointed out in that the cab is not joined to the tray. (why Ford did not make it 'styleside' is beyond me)
And the other is the style of the front doors. They curve around at the top where they meet the roof line so it would be difficult to have a flowing roof line that allows for this that also lines up with what would be the van side panels.
Still I would love to see someone have a go! (AMCAT are you listening?)
