unusual vans outside the box

in all the sites I go to I keep seeing the same holden and ford vans from yesteryear but we all know that there were some very well built vans/deliveries (what ever you choose to see them as ) in those old days that were outside the ford holden box ive started this post so those unusual make works of art get some of the attention too as they fully deserve feel free to add any others you may know of

Yep, odd balls.
For me it's about Panel Vans and the occasional Big Van as that is what the scene was/is about. I'm certainly not stuck in the '70's though.
But there sure are some nice odd ball Vans and Deliveries about. Most fall into the Hot Rod category. I remember quite a few.

im well aware that it is a hearse rob sorry I forgot to mention them lmao this hearse was a entrant in van shows constantly and while it may fall into the hot rod category it was a vechile that was in and about the van scene of old post some pics of the others you remember rob or tell me I may have a pic of them and lets not forget that austalias top van was built using hot rodding ideas I just wanted to show that the whole scene wasn't ford and holden and Bedford vans that's all

There's a saying that I've heard on several occasions and I've seen written up.

It went like this: "Vanners, Hot Rodders with Imagination!"

I remember one of those little suckers that Romeo Capitanio drove at the drags had like a 540 or bigger big block in it with a wooden floor .it was awsome .I think it tipped over like most prefects and anglias did . I ran under Darabin motors but I cant find a pic .
