I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Barry Golding Sad (12/7/14)  The founding father of East Coast Van Cub, Sydney. He was instrumental in shaping and promoting the Van scene from infancy in the 70's and passionately gave his all dedicated to grow our passion and sport of Vanning, He will be greatly missed and always remembered. He was always a fit and energetic man with a huge heart always aimed at helping others, He was a training coach in running and marathons etc and was very well known for his charity work. our condolences to his Family and Friends......R.I.P. My and our Good friend Barry. Sad

So sad to hear about Barry's passing, my thoughts go out to all those that were close to him.

.........Barry was out on a run on Saturday 12-7-14. And despite his high level of fitness, He collapsed and could not be revived, Barry was only 61 years old and way too young to go. Cheers. I too coach running and ran the melb' marathon last year and the year before.
At least he passed doing what he loved. R.I.P.
