VAN IN

Well another VANtastic weekend of cruising, chatting and catching up with MAJESTIC people has come to a rapid end. 

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL TROPHY WINNERS AND ESPECIALLY TO KARL ON A WELL DESERVED BACK TO 'CLUB PERSON of the YEAR'

SPECIAL thanks must go to Rusty and all those that helped in the lead up to this event.

AN EXTRA SPECIAL thank you to Andrew and Kerri McGuire for their efforts in the kitchen once again this year. These guys and their group of helpers, Angelique, Lee Burns and Hayley (sorry if I've missed anyone) kept us all well fed all weekend.

WOW! what a weekend it was.
again majestic vanners pulled off another successful van in, bigger and better than last year .
kerri and i had an awesome time and would like to thank everyone for their help over the weekend both in the kitchen and around the campsite and the clean up on monday.
the names are too many to mention but you know who you are so give yourselves a pat on the back.
my sister from another mister enjoyed herself too and will be there next year as well, lol
if anyone has any ideas for improvement on this years event don't hesitate to email rusty or myself or karl so we can make it better next year.
the more we hear the better we can improve things.
keep on vanning and mv rocks!!!

Wow! What an amazing weekend! What a great event! What an awesome club!

This years Van-In was even bigger and better than last year, if you were there you would know, and if you weren't, make sure you are at the next one!

A massive thank you to all our sponsors who made the event possible, your sponsorship and donations for our auction are greatly appreciated.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers that gave their time to make sure that everything ran smoothly, facilities were in order, and everyone was well fed. Special thanks to Andrew and Kerri McGuire and Angelique Rading amongst others that organised meals from the Kitchen. Thanks to the Local MV crew including Darren and Lee Burns, Ron Franks, Adrian Butt and Mel Murray who did the local run around to get things organised prior to everyone arriving.

It was a very well run event and the overwhelming feedback received was all incredibly positive. A great time was had by all, new friendships were made and old ones made even stronger. We have many great memories that will be held on to for ever.

There is one man that needs to be thanked above all for his massive effort in organising this great event, and that man is Russell Smith, better known to everyone as 'Rusty'. The amount of work he puts in to get this event off the ground each year is amazing and it would not be possible without him. So 'Thank You!' Rusty for all that you do for our great club.

On a personal level I would like to thank all our members for voting me 'Club Person Of The Year' for the second year running. It was a humbling experience receiving the award and like I said when I got it, I appreciate that my peers think so highly of me that they think I deserve such an accolade, so thanks again.

The Van-In was a massive success again this year and I look forward to next year.... Bigger and Better, onwards and upwards! MV Rocks!

Now I have to go through the 600 odd photos I took over the weekend and get some up on here in the next few days...

What a great 5 day weekend it's the family reunion that you can look forward to.
