Re: Street Machine coverage of the Van Nationals at Moe
It's great that Street Machine has done a 180° turn over previous years of pure distaste for anything resembling a Panel Van.
Simon Telford and Simon Major have been good for vanning coverage. It's great Karl has got his photos published also. I must say though that while the composition is good and to see the Vans at the event is unreal; the colours of this batch of photos isn't correct and I'm a little surprised they would publish them.
Anyway, great to see the Vans getting publicity.
Regards, Smooth

I apologise that the colors aren't 'correct' Smooth, I am just an amateur photographer and don't profess to be an expert in editing them. Nevertheless I am proud to have had them published and have a small part in bringing Vanning back into the spotlight through the biggest automotive publication in the country.

Hi Karl, great work on promoting the show so thanks to you and Simon for taking the time and effort. Keeping in mind that publishers will always tinker with image settings and computer screens will reproduce with variation I think it all presents quite well.
And yes, good to see Street Machine running a van story.

Didn't mean to offend Karl, if your not sure how to correct the images I'd have no issue helping you out. Usually your colours are fine. This batch though is out. Maybe you changed something in processing or a camera setting changed? Are you shooting RAW and processing or shooting .jpg? If you don't see it or don't care I'll back off.

Re: Street Machine coverage of the Van Nationals at Moe
Thanks Rohan and Andrew.
Smooth, this batch of photos all had the same filter applied which would explain why they don't appear the same as my others. Being time poor, I don't have much time to spend editing individual shots, and these were among over 250 photos I took at the Nationals.
I would love to learn how to do more on the editing side and would appreciate help when I find the time.

Hi Karl
Thanks for having my van featured, I have no idea whether you have any input into what goes onto the site. It was a bit of a surprise so thanks again to you and Simon.
Regards Michael.

Re: Street Machine coverage of the Van Nationals at Moe
No worries Michael, I was asked to send along my ten favourite pics, and a good spread of what was there. Your Valiant is always very well presented and provides a point of difference due to its rarity. Simon has worked hard to have as much van content in Street Machine as he can in his time there, hopefully we will see him release another issue of Van Wheels in the future.
