Hi my names Travis im a Diesel mechanic from melbourne ive got a 1969 ford zc fairlane ambulance ive had for about 16 years was owned by triple m radio station when i bought it was painted up in there colours but have recently been told that back on the 80's sometime it was a show car and had been in the melbourne hot rod show painted a metallic green so ive been trying to find out some more history on it. Currently its in primer awaiting me to start on the rebuild one again.

Thanks gary yeh i drove it around in triple m colours for a couple of years until i blew up the engine. Then decided to strip it down and rebuild it. Built a new engine for it but havnt yet finished on the body work lol. This is how it sits today the pic was taken 2 days ago it the first time in 10 years its been out of my garage as i had to modify the door on the garage for the height.

Hi all, I've known about Majestic Vanners for a while via the Facebook page and mysandman.com.au but only just registered on here.

I currently own a HX Sandman van which I'll be stripping soon to get blasted/rust out/painted etc, a WB van which was my project before I stumbled across the HX and will be for sale once I get it out and empty the back of it as it's been used for storage, and an LH SL/R Torana which will be my retirement project the way it's going

Gday names Paul, but everyone calls me Billy, vaguely related to Robbie Burns via wife (they're cousins), my 1st car purchased as 17yr old was a 1980 1600 Escort Van, modified over years with back decked out a bit, good Alpine tape deck, sunroof, tint, extractors, Holley, did a heap of kms in it, had great times in it , then sold it in early 91 as was getting into bikes in a big way, kids getting older & were looking through old photos & saw me & my Esky & the bug has bit again for vans, looking for an Escort as a project to build with the boys as they're getting towards driving age. Hopefully will find a project via some MV help. Glad to join

Welcome Billy, seems the Esky's are a popular choice at the moment. Find some photos and post them up when you have time, we all love photos and a bit of history.

Ben here, live up in Darwin very small van scene here but still cool all the same, bit of a vanner from back in the 80's, first one was 302 xbgs did the lap of oz and fairly certain the young fella came to be in the back of that one! left in the back yard when we moved from alice springs years ago! got out of cars for ages but have gotten back into it lately, know have another 351 xb gs
pano, the other one is the XC GS Pano being a matching no's 351, 4sp, disk 9", rally pack, windowless in raw orange and ginger interior! Love the 70's have noticed the van show down at Albury/wadonga have to get some of the other vans here in Darwin and have a bit of a road trip,

Hello all,
A friend of mine directed me to this site. I am a proud Hz panelvan owner. I had a Hj many years ago and bought a Hj caprice nose cone (with all parts intact ie head lights, indicators, first radiator....etc) Anyways i have a WB caprice nose on the Hz that i own and am looking to sell the Hj caprice nose. I was wondering if anyone would be able to direct me to an area that i may do so... It was from an old fella that had his car garaged it whole life and i have had it in a spare room for the last 8 years and believe that it should be grabbed by someone to be utilised. If someone could help would be much appreciated ,
