The judge, 1970 bedford van
Hi, my name is Chris, & i own 25 vehicles, they range from;- 6 x Bedford cf vans, & yes one of them is The judge show van, that i have owned since 1998, 3 x HR holdens, the sedan is named Street Heart that i built in 1989, a panel van, a ute, 1 x pontiac auzzie luarentine, 2 x jags, A 1923 T-Bucket still in the build, 3 x commodores, a vb,vc,vk, 1970 corrolla coupe, suzuki cino, 84 camry, ed falcon, el falcon, custom HQ ute i drive everyday at the moment, rusty HJ Statesman, semi stripped out WB statesman, & a 2006 Suzuki Intuder 250 cruiser motor bike, i own every street machine magazine & of course every VAN WHEELS magazines, & a heap more well known magazines, i think i would have one of the biggest car,rod van, magazine collection in Australia. I started the first HD/ HR holden car club in Australia some 24 years ago, & we had 300 members Auzzie wide within 4 months, I started life in wagons united car club when i was 22yo. So one day The judge will come out again after the T-BUCKET is finished, in its original form , then there will be a few changes done to bring it a bit more up to date, like; disc brake front end, a few more murals that actually tell a story, a working radio with speakers instead of head phone jacks, so hope you all like my introduction, & you may soon see more of me at your shows as an entrant once again, but which vehicles i will bring, who knows????

New here
Hi everyone im new. I have never even been on a forum before so il do my best. Im 47, and have a 98 XH Falcon van. I always wanted a van, just in the day I was on another kind of planet. 1st car Mk2 Cooper S, then Imported German RS Escort 76 Model. V6 Capri, XAGT, Bought a spanking new Cordia Turbo In 87, 65 Mk1 GT Cortina Bought a new WRX in 2000. So I been on a kinda different journey.. But I always wanted a Sundowner. My brother had a Escort Sundowner in the day. The XH was a workhorse I bought, But I have turned it into a Sundowner if ford had of kept making them. XR6 dash, leather trim, XR Steering wheel, XR Wheels, AU engine conversion LPG. And sadly it looks like im just getting started. So Here I am. Im a retired cop (Detective) But a panel beater by trade. Im happy to help with panel related questions. Thanks for having me here. !! Daz

Sundowner
Yeh well, heres the rub. Il learn how to post photos soon. (My wife will show me)But the van is about to become a panelvan in the true sense, windowless. A repaint and some xc style tribute striping, all in the next few months so ???? I didn't mention I am actually a panelbeater by trade, did my apprenticeship then went off to the cops. Im thinking 71 true blue ?? with the 3 or 4 contrasting sundowner stripes in different shades of blue peeling down the pillar into the rear quarters. Nothing outrageous just a little hint and salute to history. So All help. Tips. Comments. welcome, and encouraged. She is rust free after I replaced both sills. So Here we go... Daz. PS was gonna convert her to tailgate style but use her to tow, so Barn doors stay.

Re: Introduce yourself Here!
G,day,
My name is Dwight and i'm from Wagga, My current project is a WB Van that i will be fitting with a 350 Chev and wanting to go full 70s/80s style with trans am front, L88 scoop, flares and rear wing just trying to find all the bits as I can afford them. I would be happy if I could end up with a van half as good as some of the other Vans on the site. Hope to see a few of your vans in the steel (and fibreglass) one day.
Dwight

Re: Introduce yourself Here!
Welcome Dwight
You will find plenty of fiberglass & steel here,
There's a few chances to see the vans for real ,the van nationals at Easter ,all holden/ford days
And last but not least THE VAN-IN...
