Went to look at a new van today
A guy rang me about a rare HQ Sandman today that had been sitting in a shed and never finished after being pulled apart, Imagine how excited I was when they said all he wanted was $400.00 dollars and had to be out of his shed as he was shifting, well jumped in the car and went around and said to my son- sounds too good to be true.
Well heres the pictures that my son took, Told him it was too good to be true, a base model early HQ with all the rust and bog you can handle.
Oh well - keep looking,

They're hard to rego without plates to dude. Would be good spares for a couple of hundred, awesome trailer project or windowless donor sides!

Oh Rob wish you had of been there, he must have thought I was a father wanting to bond with my son on a project, he stood there with an honest face and told me it was a geniune Sandman, very rare in the HQ as they had bench seats, man- laughed my ass off, there was more metal in my motorbike than the van,Oh well keep looking, Cheers.

Gidday Andrew
That would have been very disappointing.
Did you get the name of the Company that built the shed?
I'm getting a new shed sometime soon. I just want to make sure that I don't use the same Company. Shed's are supposed to keep the weather out and stop the Rust.
