So Agro, have you done anything with the flared guards idea yet, or is it on the back burner.
regards Robert
Haven't done anything with the van since Feb, but have been pondering the idea of putting some of the MV flares on it.
Just not sure a i change my mind to much with the van. I get a look that i don't mind, then something happens and my thoughts on it get changed. This is one of the reasons why i haven't done anything to it for a while.

Re: Wheel flares
They're the same as Checkmate's, the skirts were fitted later and joined into flares. There is early pics of Checkmate with side pipes and no skirts, that show them.

Re: Wheel flares
Here's a couple, there's more in the Van Register showing different angles after it got the skirts and lost the XB side scoops.

Re: Wheel flares
The front of the flares on Checkmate are different to Andrews ones as Checkmates have been cut and the Trans Am triangle section added.
The front of Andrews flares are straight from the mould and narrow in similar to LH Torana ones, I've got the mould also for the matching front spoiler that fits a Holden nose cone and ties the two front flares together.

Thats what it's designed for, just a Holden nose cone.
