Wrest Point, Mark Summons.

CV&T has it listed as a HQ Van.

It had a Monza Front, but I beleive it was changed to a Meteor front in its later days.

Chrome 4 into 1 Side Pipes and a very neat window in the Lower tailgate.

GT Fuel Cap.

Lots of Chrome in the Engine bay.

Heaps and Heaps of Mirror Tiles in the Back with Poker Machines and Cards.

The Van I'm thinking of is a Ford Van built by a Guy from Sydney.

It was bought Brand New as a GS.

I'm pretty sure it featured in one of the early CV&T Mags as one of my Mates back in school had it stuck up on his wall. I'm missing quite a few editions between 1 and 10, so I can't be sure.

It was one of the Vans that stood out early in the Van Scene and influenced a lot of people.

It had Personalised Plates i.e. the Owner's Initials.

It had Murals and Graphics down the sides. Thrush Side Pipes, Chrome 12 Slotters, Bubble Sunroof, Bubble Windows, GS Bonnet and GS Scoops in the Side.

Two things that will most likely give it away are: It had the rear Windows Acid Etched with its name in Mirrored and the Walls in the rear were covered by Wall Paper.

Now I'm not sure about the following, but I think I heard way back when that it was going to do a circuit in the USA. Again another rumour, but I beleive the original owner may still have it in his possession.

It's be interesting to see what condition it's in. I imagine pretty good if it's been stored out of the weather.

Bodywise everything was bolt on so there shouldn't be any shrinkage.

I'll post some Pics when they finish uploading.

No it's a Holden Van and you have to look real close in a couple of the scenes to pick it, but once you do it has a few features that will leave you in no doubt as to which Van it is.

'Wouldn't mind a bite of a Mars Bar if you've got one open Ruthie'. I shouldn't get started on one-liners from this movie.

The Van in Midnite Spares was Steve Plunkett's 'Broken Hearted' EH. Once you see it it'll stand out like the proverbial everytime you watch it
