In the last Monaro pic, Im pretty sure the white HZ with 12 slotters in the back ground is my cousin Tony's old car. Miss ya Tony! RIP mate.

MR GAS was my favourite car when I was about 14, I often wondered what happened to it. I'd love to find it and buy it if I could.

i remember almost getting into a fight with the owner of blwn 4 when i asked if he was going to make it left hand drive so he could see when he was driving

ive never seen the car or intake system so im assuming it met an untimely end

Or it's in a shed covered in dust somewhere?

i've had a quick look and all I can find is a red GTS with a Pro Stock scoop at the Yennora Woolshed show in 86 or 87? Had Dragways on it?

I had a mullet too back then. I've also got a few pics to scan but in the interests of
keeping it family freindly I wont post the ones of the "freindly ladies" that used to let you have

those pics are great! The last pic, we were just out of shot on the right. We set up at 8am and sat there all day and drank warm Fosters!

It was for sale a few years later for 40k and wasnt sold for about 18 months and he finally let it go for $8,000 and i didnt find out till after it sold

It used to come to Jillys (Lansvale) back in the mid 80s and was owned by brothers that owned a small parts shop at Casla on the main road (i think it's an op shop now) and what makes it so special, aside from tha fact it was an all round kick ass car, was that it was the first street car to run coil packs.
I can still remember everyone standing around at Jillys one night trying to work out how he had the leads coming through the firewall and nothing coming out ot the dizzy

The BDS Bronco was a weapon too. It ran a BB CHEV motor in it. Overkill ran at Oran Park drags a bit too. It was very quick.
I was a regular at Jillys too. We often showed up in a yellow RX4 and my red escort panno was there a bit too.
